The brief

Lowlight designs lighting for concerts, tours, and broadcast productions. They needed a site that puts their photography first, reflects the scale of their work, and stays current without a developer. Previously, adding new photos meant emailing a developer and waiting for changes.

What it does

  1. A cinematic landing page
    01

    A cinematic landing page

The homepage opens with an animated neon logo over a full-screen video from one of their productions, setting the tone before any scrolling.

  2. Work organized by project
    02

    Work organized by project

Everything is grouped by show or event (concert tours, corporate keynotes, worship productions), each opening into its own image-forward gallery.

  3. Full-screen photo viewer
    03

    Full-screen photo viewer

Selecting any image opens a full-screen lightbox with next and previous navigation, an image counter, and a progress bar.

  4. Self-serve content management
    04

    Self-serve content management

The team manages the work themselves through a simple admin. They create an album, upload photos, and publish, and changes go live automatically with no code or developer involvement.

  5. Optimized media delivery Cloudinary CDN
    05

    Optimized media delivery

Images are resized and served on demand through a CDN, so galleries stay sharp and load quickly on any device.

The result

The site is live and in daily use. Lowlight publishes new work the same day a show wraps, entirely on their own.
